Well if I put my conspiracy theory hat on it does not prove anything since searches could not find a thing over the last year. The flapperon could have been planted at Reunion Island to throw people of what really happened. Who knows the Americans could have had MH370 at Diego Garcia and dumped pieces of it in the ocean with currents sending it south to Reunion Island.
