"GZ…I believe the only way to turn off the CVR and FDR (FDDR)….is go down in the EB and physically pull them off the rack….Can't be done from the cockpit….
Hi Clacoste, I'm under the impression the CVR CAN be turned off from the cockpit to (from memory) "preserve details of an in-air incident that would otherwise be lost hours later in the moving loop". Makes sense... I'll try and check that.
