There were a lot of things covered at the agm, one that I recall is to do with their mining tenaments. Frank said they are so extensive that they are as big as all the other companies tenaments north of Maq Harbour. (need to check this out further)

They have hired a geo who specialises in age dating as the previous thinking was that the rocks south of Maq H. are from a different time to those north. Apparently this has been shown to be incorrect and they are of the same age which is important because of the excellent discoveries that have already been made on the west coast.

He recommened we all get a book called 'The Peaks Of Lyell' which goes over the discovery of Mt Lyell that is nearby and really covers mineral exploration on the west coast of Tassie from a historical perspective. He got all the board members to read it, or at least recommeded they did.

I hunted around town as I left and eventually found a copy after the first place was sold out. (its not a big place)

Its an ok read so far and really shows that there is a LOT of stuff in those mountains from tin to gold, copper etc. and that the mining boom/bust has been going on for 100's of years.

Interesting stuff and much much longer term but he has clearly thought quite a bit about that part of the business.
