ECT link unfortunately was interrupted by 3 ELECTIONS, Federal, State in Australia and the third 18th Jan 2011, Vietnam.

Who is going to claim Coldry as their own.Possibly all 3.

Positive aspects in the market for ECT and coal use, is the continuing price rise of black coal and Vietnam's demand for local and existing export contracts from a dwindling resource.
2014 will be net importers unless an alternative is found.
Coldry $45 export ,local production from the
DELTA RIVER???? $30..or even less???AND AMOUNT OF LIGNITE AVIALABLE IN Vietnam is A VERY LARGE RESOURCE, no restraints, no EPA.
AT a fraction of the price for coldry compared to black coal would expect Petro Vietnam to diversify its operations.

Another recent development is LITIGATION against major polluters of lignite power stations ,this will have ramifications to business as usual lignite power stations.
Hazelwood ,LYP , ..TIME to provide a cleaner alternative that will not cost employment, and keep the lights on.

Coldry represents a cheaper alternative than gas and with a 500 year resource in the LaTrobe Valley,providing a secure baseload power for industries to stay in Victoria.
