I suspect that management are deliberately keeping quite to keep traders out.
It make it hard to to trade when you have no ballpark dates to jump in/out on. It could happen anytime makes it so the long term holders are rewarded as it makes no difference to them if a NMP contract news item is released today or in 2 months.
To a short term trader the timing of that news would be very important.
