Hi Everyone.
The MHRA is currently seeking feedback about theri releasing safe medicines for supply to the public before formal licensing, as per their following statement:
"the UK regulator MHRA argues that while its oversight of medicines is necessary for a patient safety perspective, the duration of the review process may be creating unnecessary delays. The government's regulatory response may be imperfect because some medicines may be unnecessarily denied earlier access to markets even though there is enough information early on to judge that the medical benefits justify the risks. If such medicines can be sold at cost effective prices, then UK society would benefit from earlier access to these medicines. The MHRA is undertaking a public consultation on proposals to introduce a scheme that will provide access to certain new medicines before they are formally licensed. Those interested are asked to submit comments to the MHRA by October 5.

DEADLINE is October 5, so we need to get in there NOW and argue that medicines like VitroGro, held up by bureacracy, must be made available under this scheme asap!!!
