I'm not sure where the Michael Boyd rumour has come from but I think it is very much that. I know they still have "head hunter(s)" on the lookout and have recently approached at least one other person I know of (who rejected the offer).
I'm not sure who this Michael Boyd chap is but from what I read he's worth $200m. Why would a man with that sort of money (or even a small fraction of it) take a $120k/year job in a company like IMI?
