I thought the article was critical of the FDA for approving drugs that proved to be dangerous or useless. In that context, mentioning Elashoff, efficacy, and Relenza implies he was right to prevent approval.

It's a pity the article didn't take into account the last few years and the threat of bird flu. But then again, has Relenza been used on a bird flu victim yet?

Oh....I forgot. Tamiflu will save us.
