I was interested in this information at http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/pdf/

The top article is the one you want "Extract Resources & Kalahari Minerals (3MB) - 9 th May 2008"

Slide 20 is the most interesting one as a new name has appeared, CQS Ltd who own 6.1% of EXT it seems (behind a nominee company I would guess).

CQS is a hedge fund in the UK owned by an Australian, Michael Hintze. If you do a search on the web on this man you will be impressed. According to Forbes (updated 26th March 2008) he was worth $750 million:

"onetime captain in Australian Army, former Goldman Sachs trader set up London hedge fund CQS in 1999. Now has $10 billion under management. Donated to University of Sydney and to restoration of Michelangelo's frescoes at the Vatican."

He is renowned for his philanthropy and was named "Australian of the Year in the UK" for 2008.

A more extensive history can be found at http://www.iimagazine.com/article.aspx?articleID=1234344

I am intrested in why Mr.Hintze owns EXT and why so much? 6.1% of the company is not peanuts.

I can't help but think something very very big is coming.

Do searches on CQS and Michael Hintze and you will get an sense of how big this all is.
