I am happy to stick by what i originally said in that parents were naive, hoodwinked by his stardom and wanted to believe in MJ's innocence. They were negligent in not sufficiently protecting their kids. If you cared to listen to any of the parents, they and their kids are in disbelief that they let it happen and the consensus among the parents is that they considered MJ part of the family and just like one of their own sons. The parents wanted to believe Jackson was innocent and passed it off as a misunderstood genius who never grew up.

If you watched the latest documentary you would see how parents made grave mistakes and were fooled. Not for one moment did they say they knew their kids were being molested and just let it happen anyway.
