I have had an email back from Michael and it sounds like any misconceptions of the past are now put behind them and there is a good chance of an ongoing dialogue. Michael remains a significant shareholder in PLS and from todays tweet a confident one I would say!!
What many posters dont fully appreciate is the value that Michael can bring to both sides of any transaction. Michael has done an enormous amount of research of the supply side of the lithium market which is much more quantifiable than the demand side as both processors and battery manufacturers either have existing capacity or are planning and or building additional capacity. This research is very helpful in predicting who are set to become the big players in the industry the technologies they will use and what sort of volumes of raw materials they will consume. From this its easy to derive their input needs. Michael has been meeting with these players on a fairly regular basis and clearly has access to many of the important players. Doubt that many have covered as much ground in the past year as Michael.
This is all my interpretation of some of the work he has done and I dont know enough to go into anymore detail than that. Hope it helps.
