Well if liquidity becomes an issue then everyone will be running for the door, including anyone who has Gold ETFs and that will be very bad news for non revenue producing company's.
Definitely not a time to be jumping into an investment with an unknown ME outcome. This will go on for weeks / months and potential escalation will cause or manner of unintended consequences. Buffet's Fund has record cash for some reason, so I suspect its not because they don't see an opportunity = equity drawn down.
