most PI cases are pretty straight forward and usually a client ends up receiving weekly benefits until the case is settled out of court if they cannot return to work. Same with traffic. There are some headline cases that take longer. WiP should not go on longer than 24 months.
it is in the class action space that these huge WIP revenues are being accrued these take ages to complete and that is where the issues lie. Hopefully as these are now being funded, Shine should bill the funder for their services and the funder has to wear the WIP on their balance sheet. I don't think this is happening as it should.
