SENIOR CONVERTIBLE SECURITIES TENDER UPDATE
As part of its ongoing capital and debt management program, QBE announced on 4 November 2013 that it would conduct another limited tender offer for the outstanding Senior Convertible Securities due 2030 (“SCS”) issued by QBE Funding Trust V in May 2010.
The tender closed on 5 December 2013 and QBE has accepted tenders for US$210 million SCS, all of which will be settled in QBE shares on 23 December 2013 based on a volume weighted average share price determined prior to settlement. The balance of the SCS will be settled in cash on the redemption date on 24 December 2013.
