Trump's packed every level of US courts with republican-appointees so its not like he wont get a fair shake

SCOTUS has almost zero jurisdiction for what trump has been alleging since pre an actual vote.

the supreme court primarily deals with constitution-related issues - which dont apply for the most part

counting votes is a numerical/functional exercise and determining which votes are acceptable is mainly state by state in the US

its drily amusing to watch all these co called 'patriots' urge SCOTUS - when they should be the last people who want a matter taken out of a state's hands.

the whole point of US political framework is for states to retain as much of their individual sovereignty and 'self-rule' as possible

if trumpists were true constitutional 'patriots' they'd want as much as possible decided by each state

it doesnt matter what court decides something - its all legally binding to whatever extent the ruling becomes precedent

but that again is logic.

which trumpists apparently want a get out of jail free card from having to demonstrate

trumpists arent patriots - just 'have cake and eat it' moral relativists who will turn themselves into pretzels to get the result they want.

a true patriot is willing to sacrifice for the long term good of their country.

a true patriot would never support what Trump is going now - because of the damage he's done to the actual institution of that republic - even if it meant the sacrifice of having a democrat as leader of country for an electoral term or 2
