See you have a typical case of I'll read one post, and comment on that.

I was taking the (pun intended) the mickey out of a poster I put on ignore that says there were 2 sharks.

It was the fin, because the tail splash was behind that.

If what appears first is the tail, then it must have had 2 tails, 3 foot apart.

Notice the original vids. have all but disappeared??????

They were much clearer than what I found tonight.

In the very first vids on T.V. and You tube, looking at the direction the

fin was going, if it wasn't for the leg rope, it would have swam right past.

If it was an attack, on such a large target, why did it miss him and the

board, and only get the leg rope, which would have been trailing over a metre behind him ?

Poor old shark is going to go very hungry if it missed the size of its targets.

WAS NOT swimming at Fanning, but at around a 30 degree angle, behind and away from him.

It looks like a fin to me. At the end of the day, IT WAS NOT AN ATTACK.
If some one walks past you in the street/pub, and even bumps into you,
is that an ATTACK ? Don't think so !!!!!

Pics below are of Bull sharks. FIN looks identical to shark behind Fanning, does it not?
Certainly not a TAIL off either shark. No I don't surf, but I can see what is there, not what
people think they can see.





Bull shark fin, and tail. Fin look familiar? Certainly not the tail !!!
Both Bull sharks, but fins don't look identical.
Furter down depending on the angle of the fish, could even be a Dolphin fin.

Look at the NEXT two, 1 second apart, fin then tail. At the end, the vid these two come from.

Never said it wouldn't have been scary, but an attack ? NOT a very effective one, only the media and a few
uninformed people here think so. They catch and eat SMALL fish, but missed him?
