At least with Gatto you'd feel someone had had a good hard look and asked some very direct questions of the relevant personalities. Not a sensation that is very common when you leave it to the regular "regulators".
I believe gambling debts can't be sued for in Court, but tough guys have historicaly managed to recover them one way or another.
Maybe Mick will explain the position without too much legalese and a few quid in assets will be forthcoming to return to the people who have been deprived of them in a pretty disgraceful way.
If he's successful, maybe ASIC could offer him a position as say, the ASIC "Vigilance Officer". I think such a position used to exist in the old Painters and Dockers union, whose members' vigilance I expect, would have been consequently quite outstanding.
