1) lithium demand
I'm seriously missing something on lithium demand from hybrids. The amount of lithium used in a hybrid car engine is 2kg per engine. For the worlds biggest market, the US, an optimistic scenario is 1 million hybrids on the road by 2014 (that is Obama's target). That would represent 2000 tons of lithium. Assuming lithium is $10 000 per ton (very high case), that would be 20 million in sales?? Can someone refute this miniscule number? As far as I can see, the lithium story is all about the battery technology suppliers, not the raw material suppliers.
2) Selling potash in Argentina
Argentina is a poor, farming based economy. In reality, the Argies are just as nationalistic as the rest of South America. There is no way a couple of small international mining company's like ADY and ORE will ever mine potash in Argentina and sell it to Argentinian farmers at the international MOP/SOP price.
