I'm not, as I think you realise, anti-any of this, but I just don't see the relevance to the UK. If CWE, or anyone else, can supply power it can be fed into the grid. Just as my excess solar is. The microgrids that ABB have done are mostly truly microgrids because there is no alternative. Which is why they are commercially viable, and great ideas.
