I liked this post because you are technically correct regarding the valueof BRN.

However, the basis of our human society and the economics embedded within is that we have the ability to consider prospects and put a value to that.

For example, whoever here has had to go through an application interview process for their job. I'm sure in your very first job you had no proof that you could do that exact job beyond your previous education and limited experience. Therefore your value technically is ZERO....Yet someone is willing to throw out 50k to hire you not even having proof of you being able to do the job effectively. The same goes for when you are promoted etc etc...

Sooo with regards to BRN I would apply to above technique of analysis.

Of course ... sometimes humans get it wrong, but most of the time we get it right.
