As I understand it, Akida has a particular value because it "distils" the crude data from connected sensors and it does so in a very efficient low-power way. If it then has to send data off e.g. via the internet, the recipient has less to store or process with resulting time-saving and power-saving.
I suspect this is a naive over-simplification and welcome comments.
