    Interesting read.

    I suspect this simply forms part of the general discussion about any new technology which then informs and guides regulators to regulate appropriately.

    Although I suspect fossil fuel advocates will use it as a whip to moderate any move away from traditional sources. As always, the solution will lay somewhere between the status quo and zeal of new technology as we are already seeing in Labour's energy policy, specifically Gas development as a transitional base load. Always be careful of those who proclaim 'something' is moon bound.

    Waste is obviously problematic, but as long as the risks remain transparent, industry will innovate to account for downside. If it's hidden and given the opaque treatment, then we will have significant fallout (no pun intended). There are plenty of environmental groups to contain the latter, but that will depend on the political environment over time.
