Microsoft: "Next era of computing will be wearable devices"

Microsoft chief executive Satya Nadella has declared the next era of computing will be defined by wearable devices, team diversity and being able to identify small patterns in the sea of big data.

"People keep asking the question what's next after the smartphone? There are early signs of it, things you wear on your wrists, in your ear, and on your eyes," Mr Nadella told Salesforce's annual DreamForce event in San Francisco.
