In my experience This is the point that the hawks swoop in and try to pick up a company for a bargain. Hence why the SP has been suppressed over the last 12 months
Discussions have already been had, Karl and the gang were not impressed with the Lowball offer so employed the services of takeover defence, things could get nasty as the buyout will now be on market.
To clarify, to employ a firm as defence essentially means holding a combined percentage of the company so as to ward off a takeover.
