Without looking at the charts, a 1000pt drop this month, compared to the same month a 1 year ago, would be much greater in %age terms, so it will not happen. I wouldn't surprise me to see the market go down for a bit from here, but probably not more than 10%. It could also go up. Who knows! But 1000pts down, I say definitely not.
