    i think we are simplifying the staff cuts issue. its not necessarily good or bad until you understnad:

    why are staff being cut?

    and what is the impact?

    is the mine unprofitable currently?

    will production drop?

    are staff too expensive at the moment?

    are the saving cash for some m&a activity?

    can anyone shed any light on the obove questions???
