If Israel had bombed a Syrian reactor, supplied by Iran, Korea, whoever, radiation monitoring would have detected it. The Iranians cant build their own & have the Russians doing it for them. Any ships from North Korea carrying crates marked "nuclear reactor -this side up" would have been detected.Come on, even a row-boat would come under notice there. Any earthworks, even, being carried out would have been detected by Israeli spy satellites. So that supposition is pure rubbish. That Israel is still seething at its humiliation by the Hezbollah in the Lebanon War is plain if you read Haaretz and their other "journals", and that they would like another crack. Lebanon was meant to fall easily and Syria was part of the Strategy in the planning then. That Israel wants a crack at Iran is known. The most plausible theory about what happened in Syria was that the Israelis bombed a disused building simply to obtain the "signatures" of the Syrian radar controlled air defences by forcing them to turn them on due to the "raid"......as a precursor to launching their attack on Iran, when they decide to do so, through Syrian airspace. The US naval presence off the coast of Lebanon? Just there to intimidate Syria & Hezbollah into "behaving".
