How do the Saudis feel about the Kurds?
I'm thinking the writing is on the wall for Isis. So turkey and saud seek to attack while Isis is weakened by recent Syria got Ruski offensives.
I doubt the intent is Isis so much as to constrain further Kurdish expansion. Thus minimising the potential for the establishment of a Kurd state.
If the issue was primarily Isis, Turkey and saud would have got involved in Iraq, likely with the support of the Iraq government.
But it could all be a condition of the putin deal. Help in exchange for an oil deal and sideline Assad. I doubt the Assad part, maybe an oil deal is enough for saud and Ruski support in constraining Kurds enough for turkey.
Though I have to admit the rhetoric doesn't support my tin foil hat view.
While I wouldn't mind loading up. My portfolio is already a bit energy heavy and others like ipl epw and some goldies are making me itchy. Wish I had deeper pockets.
