Yemeni armed forces say they and Iraqi resistance fighters have carried out several military operations against ships linked to the Israeli regime.

A Yemeni statement by the Yemeni forces said the operations on Friday were carried out in support of the oppressed people of Palestine and retaliation to Israel’s genocidal war in Gaza.

“Our Armed Forces carried out several qualitative military operations, including a joint military operation with the Islamic resistance in Iraq targeting the oil tanker ‘Waler’ in the Mediterranean Sea with a number of drones,” said the statement.

“It was on its way to the port of Haifa, and the ship was targeted for violating the ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine,” it said.

The statement added that “the missile force and naval forces carried out a military operation targeting the American ship ‘Delonix’ in the Red Sea with several ballistic missiles.”

“The operation resulted in the ship being directly hit by Allah's grace,” it said.

The Yemeni armed forces said it also “carried out an operation targeting the ship ‘Johannes Maersk’ in the Mediterranean Sea with a cruise missile, and the operation successfully achieved its goal by Allah's grace.”

“This ship belongs to the ‘Maersk’ company, which is one of the most supportive companies for the Zionist entity,” it said.

“The operation was carried out simultaneously with another military operation by the naval forces in the Red Sea against the ship ‘Loannis,’ which was targeted with several drones for violating the ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine, and it was directly hit by Allah's grace,” the statement noted.

Yemenis have declared their open support for Palestine’s struggle against Israel since the regime launched its savage campaign in Gaza on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movements carried out Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity.

The Yemeni Armed Forces say they won’t stop the attacks until Israel stops its ground and aerial offensives.

“The Yemeni Armed Forces will continue, with Allah's help, to carry out their religious, moral, and humanitarian duties on behalf of the great Yemeni people and all the free people of the nation in support of Palestine and in victory for its struggling people and brave resistance,” it said.

“The military operations will not stop except with the cessation of aggression and the lifting of the siege on the Palestinian people in Gaza,” the Yemeni armed forces warned.

Leader of the Ansarullah resistance movement Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has said it is “a great honor and blessing to be confronting America directly.”

The attacks have forced some of the world’s biggest shipping and oil companies to suspend transit through one of the world’s most important maritime trade routes.

Tankers are instead adding thousands of miles to international shipping routes by sailing around the continent of Africa rather than going through the Suez Canal.

Additionally, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been launching attacks on Israeli targets ever since the occupying regime started the genocidal campaign in Gaza.

The Tel Aviv regime has killed at least 37,765 Palestinians and injured over 86,429 since the start of the offensive. Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under rubble.

More than 1.7 million people have also been internally displaced.
