⚡️ Escalation of the Conflict in the Red Sea - Chronicle of Events for 31 June - 2 July 2024⚡️

In the Red Sea Region, Houthi attacks continue on ships affiliated with #Israel and the coalition. Yesterday evening, the official representative of the Ansarallah movement, General Yahya Sari, reported on four successful attacks at once.

According to him, the container ship MSC Unific in the Arabian Sea, the tanker Delonix in the Red Sea, the cargo ship Anvil Point in the Indian Ocean and the tanker Lucky Sailor in the Mediterranean Sea have been hit.

It is noteworthy, that the Houthis reported on the hit of the American tanker Delonix on Friday, however, even if there was a hit then, it did not prevent the ship from continuing its journey along the established route.

So far, none of the episodes stated by Yahya Sari have been confirmed by third-party sources. However, this does not prevent Arabic-language media from claiming the next successful actions of the Houthis.

⚡️⚔️ Escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Zone until the End of 2 July 2024⚡️

In the northern #GazaStrip, Israeli troops continue to fight in the vicinity of the Tunis Cemetery in the Al-Judaida area. The Israelis also attacked Az-Zeitoun, where more than 15 people were killed.

In the south of the Enclave, the IDF carried out a massive operation in the suburbs of Khan Yunis, from where local residents were evacuated during the day. At the same time, fighting continues in the Al-Shaboura Camp and Tell al-Sultan in Rafah.

In the West Bank, Israeli security forces carried out another series of raids, detaining over 20 people. The largest IDF operation took place in Nablus, where two weapons production machines were destroyed.

On the border with #Lebanon, the exchange of strikes between Hezbollah and the Israel Defence Forces continues, but the intensity of shelling has decreased slightly compared to yesterday.
