Some important remarks to keep in mind regarding the Majdal Shams tragedy :

    1. This did not happen in Israel! The Golan Heights, occupied by Israel since 1967, are internationally recognized as part of Syria.

    2. The Druze community in the Golan Heights largely rejects Israeli nationality and considers themselves Syrians.

    3. Majdal Shams has a history of resistance and uprisings against Israeli occupation.

    4. The Lebanese resistance would never target Majdal Shams and its people.

Possible explanations for the missile that fell include:

    1. A Hezbollah rocket that missed its intended military target or was partially intercepted, resulting in it landing in the area. Hezbollah has denied this possibility.
    2. An Israeli Iron Dome interception missile that misfired, which has happened before.
    3. Involvement of a third party, possibly one of the many Syrian and other factions operating nearby.
    4. An Israeli false flag operation using one of its allied Syrian factions.

If Israel were to go to war with Hezbollah over this incident, it could suggest that Israel had been seeking a pretext for war all along, as it is unlikely they would go to war to avenge Syrian Druze citizens, especially those from Majdal Shams.
