I strongly suggest reading this analytical article at The Cradle, "Israel isn’t crazy, it’s just MAD", with its subtitle saying: "Since before its inception, Israel has very deliberately, very rationally pursued a ‘MAD strategy’ toward its foes and allies alike, training them to accept its bad behavior at all times." I'm very pleased to have read it for it provides answers no other analysts I've read have previously provided. The very short conclusion says how it can and is being fought.
