I agree that one sector of our Multicultural society
ought no be singled out , but my simple observation
is that the Jewish community has been overly represented
in Aus politics and, IMO , post the next Fed Elections
the Muslim community will be saying "Me Too" and then
it will be interesting to see if Muslims are allowed a similar
political latitude.

By the way it took Aus 90 years before it got its first Catholic PM
given that about a quarter of Aussies then were of Catholic origin.

Beliefs have alot to do with Political Philosophy on which
(presumably) political parties and policies are formed.
