ELISA kits might come in handy but not the main point of the article IMHO. The important point is not really a Midkine test kit thing. My main interest in the article (which is probably better termed a research paper) was in FIGURE 2 where the learned Authors postulate that SARS COV 2 "kind of hijacks" Midkine twice in order to enter the "human body" eventually via the ACE 2 receptors. (I'm no scientist just my interpretation of the paper) Thus an anti-midkine antibody (which I think Cellmid had some years ago or were at least working on it?) might be useful in stopping or at least reducing SARS COV 2 doing so.
