    MIDWEST CONFIRMS SINOSTEEL TRADING IN SHARES
    "Midwest Corporation (ASX:MIS) notes that 17.5 million Midwest shares were put through the market yesterday of which 15.3 million shares were crossed after market close at a price of $5.30 per share.
    After the market closed yesterday, Midwest was informed that Sinosteel was a buyer of shares at $5.30 and that Sinosteel now holds over 10% of Midwest shares on issue.
    Midwest also understands that Sinosteel has no current intentions of making an unsolicited takeover offer for Midwest."
