0525 GMT [Dow Jones] MIE holdings (1555.HK) jumps 8.7% to HK $2.00 on resuming trade in the afternoon, spurred by its announcement that it will buy 51% interest in the unit of Sino Gas & Energy for $ 100 million which is a sizeable deal as it represents about 15% of MIE's market cap.
