They are only reading the tea leaves because the announcement said EM1 were aiming for 1M subscribers by end of the month. I questioned this because it had taken ~9 months to reach 400k so how were they going to magically hit 1M in one month? But uprampers will take an announcement on face value and chant loudly because who needs to challenge those assertions?
