I have held ROC for about 18mths ( in at $1.61 ) and am very pleased with my investment. If you look at where oil was about 18mths ago you will see ROC has seriously outperformed the oil price. Management is very astute, some of the best in the business and I agree that at 320 ROC represents excellent value. If you think oil is set for another downward lurch then I would avoid all oil stocks if you're in for a short term trade. For the long term I am sure we will see oil slowly but surely climb back towards $80bbl and eventually $100. By that time hopefully ROC will have hit the jackpot in Angola and will be pumping a total of 40-50,000bbl a day from various fields around the globe !! I would have thought buying at 320 you would have a pretty decent chance of doubling your money over the next 2 to 3 years.
