So, should a drug company give up finding cures for diseases, viruses and other conditions just because they can't find a cure for the common cold?

    Of course not.

Technical Analysis is an observation technique, you cannot observe something if it doesn’t/hasn’t happened. The two flaws to technical analysis are in not knowing the WHY of the observations and reliance on personal perception to handle the future.

The Drug companies have their periodic tables screwed up.

Newton could observe gravity, but not explain the WHY of gravity, but could still utilize the observations and make practical use of it.

Because you don’t have a cure for the common cold, because you don’t understand the natural elements, because you can’t explain the why of gravity doesn’t mean you give up just because things don’t always work out as desired.

Common it means you push on to correct the issues.

If we gave up when Apollo One blew up we would never have gone to the moon. If some ancient man didn’t pick up a stick and play the first drum we wouldn’t have had music. If some old fool gave up on the rising wedge, we wouldn’t have the stork! lol
