Ok. I re-read the ann't several times. My interpretation of what the company tried to say is that "as of the close of trading yesterday, most of the important financial figures for 1H 16 have been worked out (thus become known information to SGH and all other parties involved). However, because several figures are still in the process of being finalised, we can't disclose the whole report until we have all the numbers. The ASX rules require the company disclose any known information that may have material effects on the SP, which they can't do. therefore a suspension of trading until all financial figures are finalised is the only option ". In fact, section d of the ann't indicates the possibility of announcing the results before Friday.
