I'm not disputing that they have used a DCF valuation, but saying that because they got paid the emphasis is to project a positive light from every angle. Perhaps even use more rosy assumptions then one would if you were independent. It's the nature of the beast, I know cause I've written many paid research reports over the years. I'm not detracting anything from the story as I like it myself, just don't take Edison report as gospel.
