hey sergeant, dont sneeze at 7c savings per transaction when all machines migrated over to SPS.
i think someone in here mentioned months ago CUS do about 90 million transactions per annum [ is that correct ? ] it may have been you ? please correct me if i am wrong.
if thats correct 90 mill transaction savings is about $6 mill savings per annum, and thats before direct charging clicks in.
I`m almost sure cus quoted mid 2008 for migration of all atm`s over to SPS. so thats close and maybe why the share price has kicked up today. announcement may be close.
remember they hit 14.5c before this latest market slide for the banks.
the other aspect of CUS, is something nobody is talking about- SPS must be starting to grow into a pretty decent payment system. with all CUS transactions finally migrated,
and then on top there are other companies using SPS payments system and more to come., with millions or billions of transactions, costing money for each transaction and cus will be entitled to 33%of the royalties.
also SPS must grow into a decent asset to own and Cus own one third of them., so there must be some capital value as well.
i mean mastercard international and bendigo bank are not in SPS one third each just for laughs.
as a lot of the big financial companies are doing it a bit tough in this market, i feel [its only my opinion] some predator will come after cus`s atm machines, because its an instant cash situation, but i only hope if they come its not till cus are about 50c.
the other option is for cus to make a lunge at cashcard.
