takeover expression of interest from Northwest
Highlights:
 Northwest has made a confidential, non-binding, indicative and incomplete
expression of interest to make a takeover bid for Meridian (?Expression of Interest?);
 Under the Expression of Interest Northwest has informally proposed a price of $0.14
per share (?Proposed Price?);
 Confidential discussions between Meridian and Northwest in relation to the
Proposed Price are continuing but an agreement has not yet been reached;
 Meridian has terminated the proposed sale of the Lennard Shelf Project under the
non-binding HoA; and
 Meridian's board has not yet made a formal recommendation as to whether to accept
