Well you would certainly expect there has to be something in it for Sony.
I always imagined there is an agreement they Sony gets to buy AKP if it matches the highest bid. So if Apple offers$ 10 then Sony can match that and have their bid approved.
If Sony are in the inner circle, then you would imagine they get first dibs on most or all things.
Some companies must have been wearing tech development costs, so they will need to get repaid for that one way or another.
Well you would certainly expect there has to be something in it...
