Depending on how they commercialise the speakers. License or sell direct. I understand they will do both, or at least that's what their asx release blurb states.
If they sell speakers, what upfront costs will be involved in producing commercial quantities? Do they have to build a plant or will they outsource? I think the manufacturing process will require stringent quality compliance. So outsourcing may not be viable.
Licensing seems like a faster track for $$$ to come in. Some big upfront payments and ongoing royalties could be in play. Let the big names deal with the manufacturing processes.
I still think commercialisation could be 2-3 years away, but the deals with upfront payments could be 12-18 months away once they finalise the manufacturing process and functioning speakers.
If these items fall into place, it'll be very hard to buy stock, so anyone looking to build a position would want to start thinking about it soon IMO.
