Suddenly so much money available. Political Will recognising the inevitability of nuclear and need for more development. As well as people and population sentiment turned to clean energies & preparedness to back good teams and projects . The majors called the shots , but supply disruptions started to have effects more as well .

I stand by my comments, albiet with huge respect - DYL wasn’t hungry enough to grow their pipeline : focused primarily on development and geology understanding and resource definition only to what was required which was wise , and not wasting shareholders money . To being production ready . But now will have to pay more for any acquisition .

Well said Aqua, just out of curiosity, what companies do you think may have been in his sights?

I know Paladin went in for some Aussie assets when he was CEO there, they had Oobagooma, Bigrlyi and the Angera/Pamela deposits that MEY now have... and also Mt Isa that is a bit of a white elephant with the Labor government banning any uranium mining. So he definitely wouldn't limit himself to Namibia as Ura pointed out. Kayelekera was in Malawi and Aurora was in Canada so they definitely spread their tentacles out when they were making the big bucks in the last cycle.

I think they paid $1.5B for Mt Isa... ouch.
