BIG SURGE IN SCRIPTS FOR ADHD

Prescriptions issued to children have doubled in just 8 years.Official data shows the number of prescriptions for a swathe of ADHD drugs has gone from just 529,102 prescriptions to Aussie kids in 2013 to 926,628 last year.
The biggest drug doled out to under 18's was ritalin.
One psychiatrist has said that in the past 2 years ADHD had become worryingly fashionable and is blaming Tik-Tok for creating videos glamorising it and warned that children might just have anxiety.
Perhaps a session of Tali Detect might be good for some kids.
