I believe there is some manufactured trading happening to encourage us all to take up our SPP entitlement, just have a close look at the number of very small trades at $100 or less. This has to be programmed buying IMHO.
If the gold price happens to drop around the close of the issue I believe the price can easily retreat to below $1.15, just as MEP did recently.
I will be happy if I am wrong as I hold shares at a greater average price and will be happy to see them move up sharply but as always - buyer beware.
