In my mind it is not ridiculous at all. CAN aim to do all their own manufacturing and processing... how would they do that without buying the equipment?
and why are you worried about them pouring concrete? I would have thought that was to be expected on a construction site? If anything it is a huge positive - it means that all the base services have been finished and are now being capped by concrete so that fit out can proceed.
