Well he's hard to figure out. From memory, he's an economist by training and not previously had much involvement with politics. Of course what you hear about him is going to depend on where you read or heard it.
However, the latest report I saw was that inflation in Argentina had come down from.about 150% to something like 10-20%, so he must be doing something right.
